About Me
I have a passion for teaching and I find it very rewarding to help students to succeed. I have real world experience and I’ve taken numerous exams so I understand effective ways to study and prepare.
Education
I have a B.S. in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. I also have the CRPS (Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist) designation and the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation.
Teaching Experience
I have worked in financial services since 1993. For 8 years I worked as a corporate trainer, part of my responsibilities were assisting employees with the Series 6, 7, 63 and 65. For the last few years I have provided tutoring and classroom instruction (mostly virtual) for the SIE, Series 6, 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, 65 and 66. Personally, I have taken (and passed on the first attempt) the Series 3, 6, 7, 24, 53, 63 and 65
Interests
I enjoy the outdoors including swimming, boating, fishing and hunting. I also enjoy spending time with my family and my dog, Max (a rescue).
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
